Kayli decided not to end her season after her 2nd place finish at Collegiate’s. She needed a good showing at the 2014 Women’s Nationals being held in Baton Rouge, LA in late May to make the U.S.A World Junior Team.
She went on to win a National Championship in the Junior division and placed 4th amongst world class lifters in the Open division but most importantly, she earned her sport on Team U.S.A. In early September, Kayli travelled to Oroshaza, Hungary to compete in the World Juniors & Sub-Juniors Championships. It went down to the last lift where she deadlifted a personal best 358.3lbs at a body weight of 112.4lbs and won the 52kg World Junior Championship. Her win aided the Team U.S.A Junior team to the Team Championship title.
